Good morning

Hello my friends,
I was not real sure what I wanted to share today, there were a couple of different poems I wanted to share , and then there was a story that I loved but I felt it was a little long. So this is what I decided. I opened my Bible and the first scripture I saw that was highlighted I was going to share with you today. So here it is,


Joshua 1:8

8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

This scripture put a smile on my face because it goes with my post from last week, on how I need to read my Bible more. I just love when I open my Bible and I know he is telling be something one on one. He may as well been sitting with me and having a cup of coffee telling me this because that's how clear it is to me.

Friendships

Being a wife a mother a grandmother working 40 hours a week and trying to maintain a comfortable home and a pretty garden, seeking friends has never been a priority of mine. My best friend is my husband and my daughter is the girlfriend I call just to say whats up. I am very thankful that Jesus is my friend. He understands everything. I don't have to explain to him anything. I need to start being a better friend to Jesus, I need to be as good to him as he is to me. I never think twice about being on the computer for hours, but to be honest I can't remember the last time I spent hours reading my bible. This is something I myself need to work on. I know that he is there waiting for me to be a better friend, by picking up his book that he wrote for me. This year I would like to try to start a routine every night after dinner I'm going to make myself a cup of tea, and put it in a pretty cup and sit in my favorite chair and read my bible for at least 20 minutes to spend time with my very best friend Jesus!

Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

If you fall, your friend can help you up. But if you fall without having a friend nearby, you are really in trouble.

13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

Hello, my name is Wayne, and I have been blessed to be married to my lovely wife Ginger for 18 years. Although I give her a hard time for the amount of time she blogs, my life has truly been blessed because of it. I have never left a comment on any of your blogs, but I want you all to know that not one Sunday has gone by that I have not read your words on Spiritual Sundays. All of your thoughts,prayers,words,cartoons,videos have truly inspired me to be the best child of God that I can be. It is so encouraging to know that there are so many others of like faith who are facing the same trials of life, yet continue to encourage each other by sharing on there blogs. I look forward to the new year to read all your encouraging words, so please keep up the good work. Who knows I may even learn how to leave a comment!!
